i need to top off my oil, what weight or grade should i use

Since it is summer out now you will want to use a heavier oil then in the winter. For maximum engine protection I use a 15w-40 Mobil one full synthetic. In the winter I use a 5w-30 Mobil one full synthetic. Other wise a standard 10-30 will do the job fine.
