Depends on your driving habits. It has the funny little MPG gauge on the bottom of the cluster to demonstrate this. From my experience, and I worked as a BMW tech for two years, you can generally expect about 20 mpg during mixed driving in an automatic.

525

i have a '95 525i manual, i get about 22-26mpg mixed driving
