Used 2007 BMW 328i

Asked by Jan 25, 2015 at 11:05 PM about the 2007 BMW 3 Series 328i Convertible

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Hi,
I'm looking into buying a used 328i. It is a 2007 model and has around 30,000 miles. A
couple of my friends have warned me about buying old BMW's. Does the 2007 BMW will
start showing any electronic or other problems quickly on? Is it safe to buy a BMW that
old?

First thing to do is run a vehicle history report such as Carfax, vincheck, etc. This car has very low mileage. Suspiciously low, in my opinion. Could be legitimate OR it could have been wrecked and sitting somewhere for a few years. Also check out carcomplaints.com. There you can read what other consumers, like you and I, have to say about these cars based on their first hand ownership experience. If you do buy it remember that it IS a BMW. Either take it back to the BMW dealer for service and repair or to a shop that specializes in imports. Your local garage will NOT know how to fix it!! My Nephew learned that lesson the hard way with his '98 528i. HTH. -Jim
