2008 DTS After fueling and parking the car, the next morning fuel is down by 1/4 tank, sometimes 1/8 tank, and other times

Asked by Alconbury May 30, 2012 at 04:12 PM about the 2005 Cadillac DeVille DTS Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Loses fuel after siting overnight.  Sometimes it loses 1/4 tank, sometimes it loses none.  Cadillac says the car is
working OK.  Any help appreciated as I have a new car warranty. Just bought a few months ago.

If you are losing this amount of fuel I would be very concerned. If it is still under warranty I would have them repair it. Bring the car to them full and have them let it sit in their shop overnight. Any leaks should be apparent to them.
