Low miles and low price... possible problems?
Why would a low-mileage 2007 BMW 3 Series 335i Convertible with less than 15K
miles be priced below $31K? Still under warranty until 07/2011, but issues with
convertible mechanics or turbos or something else?
I wouldnt look into problems with the mechanics as the reason for it being cheap, its under warranty still. I would be more worried about the car being the car it is. It may be a stolen vehicle thats been cloned with other numbers and a fake log book or its being sold when its still on finance, I dont know how it works in the US but over in the UK you can HPI cars on line and id get some 1 in the know to check all the vin numbers have not been played with.
Andy, I very much appreciate the feedback... not something I had thought of as a possibility... Never owned a BMW but am looking forward to getting one... just did not have a clue as to what to look for or avoid as the case may be. Thanks again!
Any 3 series is a good bet its the bigger 5 and 7s that loose their money very fast and it will hurt the bank when comming to selling. The cabs and coupe's hold their money best as they are more desirable all depends on which engine you want all I can say on that is to stay away from and small 4 cylinder engines all the 6 cylinder engines are pretty good and of course the 8 cylinder M3 is great
sorry I meant 'stay away from ANY' not AND
Ihave a 2003 325ci thats been out of warrenty with no problems (knock on wood)If the car has one draw back its the fact that it didn't really hold its value I paid 700/month 45000+ and the car was never worth much more than I owed on it.But its still the best driving, handling car I've ever owned
