I read that the 2005 bmw 325i need api sm oil, I
bought api sm plus, will this make a difference in
my car? Thanks!

5w30 weight, synthetic. LL 01 is what is recommended oil. But any oil will do as long as you change it regularly. Some use Mobil 1 0W40, BMW OEM oil or Luqui Moly is what some enthusiast use.
