I don't have those kind of tools but what I did do was I knew the alternator for sure was no good it wasn't charging anymore so I took out the alternator and with the battery is disconnected hook the charger back up to the battery alone now it seems to be charging fine on the battery I'm hoping that was the issue was a fried alternator I'll know for sure I guess once I put the new alternator in

By the time I got to taking the alternator out and been sitting overnight the prior to the complete power loss I had driven it to the pot store right around the corner from my house and they tested it and said that the alternator was no good it was when I got at home I put the charger on and the charger was giving me a cross why is reading for some weird reason all of a sudden so I went to turn the ignition on and off again to see if that would reset something and that's when I noticed that I didn't have any more power at all no lights no nothing
