Is $4500 too much for a BMW 325i with 100k+ miles on it?

Asked by Feb 09, 2016 at 01:03 PM about the 2003 BMW 3 Series 325i

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

They are asking $4500 but I could probably bring it down to $4000. I'm a
college student with only around $1000 extra after buying this for
maintenance and insurance with a low income. I don't have the time or money
to be constantly fixing this car. Do you guys think it will last without any
problems or should I keep looking?

older BMW's require lots of maintenance. Do you have time to work on your own car? DIY? If so you might be good, expect to pay $1500-2K a year on upkeep. Some years more, some less. Check out this wiki, has everything you need to know......www.bimmerfest.com/wiki/index.php?title=BMW_E46
