i start driving my car later about 3 min the oil light comes out. it doesn't come off until i turn it off. what's wrong?

A) Your low on oil. B) Your oil pump is on its way out. C) The oil pressure sending unit is not working properly. D) You forget to change the oil and filter and it's to thin to protect the engine. E) There's a contaminant in the oil. That's just a few

Whatever you do... don't let the motor overheat!!! Check your oil level and get to your repair shop for a code read.

Could it be the sensor? I did some research online. What do you think?

The sensor is the most common problem. Be smart and change it. If that's all it is you got off easy. If it's not then go to the next step.
