Radiator leak wear the hose meets the expansion tank on a 2000 bmw 323i
Make sure it's not the plastic part of the hose that attaches to the expansion tank that is leaking and or not clipped in properly. If it is leaking from the side of the radiator, which does happen, replacement is necessary.
I use fcpeuro for parts.
Ok thanks. Yea just put a new expansion tank in and it wasnt leaking from that hose before
Is there a lit plastic piece that goes on the end of that hose
there is a clip on each hose, the main one to the radiator and the little one to the expansion tank. Make sure you push the hose assembly onto each till they bottom out and make sure the clip is fully seated or it will leak. If it is connected properly, the upper hose is faulty. So you will need to replace the upper hose assembly.
