Just sold my '01 530i after almost 6 enjoyable years with it. Hated to see it go but time for a change. Now looking for a 7 series. Nothing else like a bimmer!!

for our '99 age and use, we've been very lucky. it's really little inconveniences versus major engine issues with so many other cars so i'm cool with it all. just an fyi

I was sorry to see all (nine total) go. Had five 3 series, two 5 series, and two 7 series. ☺

this is a 3rd car for us and our other two are a bimmer 5 series which we love and a pilot which is also great. a few more years when the kids are a bit older, and you betcha i'm back in another bimmer.

Bought a 528i new back in 1997, served as the family car until 08, when we welcomed our current 750Li ...but the 528i was a great car! eventually turned into a secondary car, but it had around 80,000 miles on it when we got rid of it, and it still ran like a dream! The only problem we ever really had, and it was electrical, the remote trunk release wouldn't work, so you had to use the key.
