2005 freestar door ajar keeps going off

the door ajar chime keeps going off, when all doors are closed, why

the switch in the door latch is probably dirty. spray some WD-40 into the door latch assembly of the door you suspect is causing the issue.

thank you Mark, but both side doors are now locked and i can not open them, latch does not go up or down and the door ajar alert goes off in sets of 3 for about 2 to 3 times

Anything ever come of this? I ask because I have a 2006 Freestar POS version and my door ajar light and tone keeps going off. I did spray with break cleaner because that will clean better than wd-40. Any ideas?
