what kind of spark plugs should i get for a 1985 BMW 325e? I do not want platinum ones.
Get standard, mot of the time, cheap plugs. You don't want any of the dual tip stuff. I have the exact year and model as you. I just went to auto zone, pulled one plug, brough it in and asked for the same. DO NOT upgrade...I'm blanking on exactly why that is but stick to the basic core. I'm sure someone can back me on that. Good luck? Drop me a note, I'd love to see a pic.
I'd stick to OEM unless you have significantly more HP than stock. Avoid non-resistor type plugs because they might cause electrical problems due to ignition noise. If you enter "1985 BMW 325e spark plug" in to Google, you'll get a bunch of hits right at the top.
