My 2011 Chevy Aveo does not appear to have a cabin filter. It looks like there is supposed to be on there but it is solid with the rest of the housing. Am I supposed to cut it out and replace it with a cover that comes with a new filter?
You are supposed to have a cabin air filter. It's Delco part number CF1219. No cutting is required to replace it. Check behind the glove box for a removable panel. If not there check at the bottom of the passenger's side of the windshield for a removable panel. Your owner's manual may tell you how to replace it as well. Hope that helps! Jim
