i have 2011 Ford Taurus Sel and have just noticed that the panel on th drivers door that contain the keyless entry button has cracked completely across the lower right side.Ther has been no impact or prying on it,but yesterday was parked in 36c sun/heat,does ford have a problem with these panels being made of inferior materials

Not sure if that is a common issue, stop off at a local dealer and see if they will cover the repair. Are you still in the 3year/36K mile warranty? Might be close.

I love this model and year and version (SEL) of the Taurus.....see your local Ford dealer, I'd want that fixed by them.
