OCCASIONALLY MY 2011 MUSTANG 5.0 DURING START UP WILL CRANK WITHOUT STARTING AND THE IGNITION KEY STAYS STUCK WHILE THE CAR CRANKS. WHAT'S THE DILEMMA?
I've has this issue since I purchase the car back in 2012. its the GT with the RTR set up.(lowered, staggered wheels, ford racing shock's and exhaust.)
The car usually sits in the garage most of the winter if there's a rain or snow condition.(15k miles on the car, only add ons under the hood, Cold air package and 85mm throttle body) These items were added with the existing condition.
Sounds like the ignition lock cylinder or ignition switch is faulty
