Possible Problems

Asked by Apr 29, 2014 at 11:56 AM about the 2010 Kia Rio Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I have no Idea about anything car related to start.

Anyways I have a tendency to drive like a dick and constantly speed because I am
usually in a hurry. Today I was getting run off the road by some guy so I gunned it to
get in front of him. My engine light has now come on and i'm not sure. The engine
sounds sick and like it's rumbling around. It also was having a bit of trouble accelerating
but I still could accelerate and get up to the speed I needed.

First off, if you drive like the dick you, and it sounds pretty much like you do, the least of my worries would be odd sounds coming from the engine bay. I'd do a bit more worrying about the pop, pop, pop coming mm the car you acted like a jackass to in the first place. The other thing you said was you don't know anything about cars which opens the door to a whole other bunch of things that may or may not be related. Not to your being a JA but to having no clue how to maintain or operate a car. First,,find a good anger management therapist,, and second, a good mechanic who can fix what ever it was you f"d up. Checking the oil and the transmission fluid would be good places to stay. Are you a Masshole or an NYC cabbie m
