Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have been told that timing chain must be replaced at 60,000. I've looked in
manual and cannot find any info about this.

Timing belts are typically replaced about every 100,000 miles but you have a timing chain which does not need to be replaced unless it is getting noisy. You are good!

Somebody sent me a flyer saying it was time to change my timing belt on my 2011 Sonata at 90,000 miles........SCAM! I guess they think I am stupid! One of the reasons I bought this car is because it had timing chains! Like my 2003 Suzuki Aerio with 156000 miles on it!
