I have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata I changed both headlights two month ago. Last night I noticed on headlight is out again ?Also one in awhile ( twice in the past six moth )the battery dies. I recharge it and it is ok. Could those two problems be caused by a short somewhere, thank you ?
I think the main ground connection if corroded....follow the black battery cable down to where it connects to the frame/chassis~ wirebrush this connection clean to establish SOLID ground for all the accessories connected to the chassis and things as minor as ignition...fuel pump and windshield wipers~
...a "short" would blow the fuse involved with that compononent.....good ground is the key and will yield the expected results instead of "hot boxin'" the component (like a headlight) providing insufficient ground potential~
