2011 Ford Fiesta- Fuel pump will not fit
Asked by BobaTehFettz Sep 21, 2019 at 12:29 PM about the 2011 Ford Fiesta SES Hatchback
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have started replacing my fuel pump in my 2011 Ford Fiesta. After
removing the old fuel pump and attempting to replace it with the new one, I
have been unable to get the new fuel pump to fit flush. It seems to be about
1/2 in too tall to fit flush with the seal and I have been unable to lock it down
with the ring because the ring sets too high as well. I have watched several
videos of people installing this same fuel pump and have seen no issue like
this. Any assistance that someone may have would be greatly appreciated.
