2011 ford Fiesta 1.6 SE overheating with no thermostat installed
Asked by Joshimpraim Oct 15, 2019 at 02:05 PM about the 2011 Ford Fiesta SE Hatchback
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Hi, my 2011 ford fiesta 1.6 she hatchback
overheated and my head gasket blew. I had it fixed,
the mechanic told me the thermostat is bad so he
took it off completely without replacing it. Now
after all the works he did on the car, Immediately I
start the car, I see coolant in the expansion tank
begins to rise and in ten minutes start pouring out.
What's happening to my car, is it the thermostat he
took off that's bringing all these problems?
