my 2005 ford focus has problem checked # 42 fuse and it is ok still cant get it out of park also no brake lights no blower motor no wipers no power windows working

need help to find problem all will work if I jump from positive to # 40 fuse but not
wnting to do that for safety reasons

As far as getting the car out of park, there is a small plastic cove next to or below the gear shift, lift it up and using a short flat screw driver push the gear shit override button in there. You will have to do this each time you want to move the car out of park. The other problems can be cause by a solenoid or relay.

Check the wire harness that runs from the roof to the rear hatch door.wires love to break in there and cause all sorts of electrical issues.

Perfect reminder. I forgot about the wire harness, they have the tendency to break and corrode.

none of the answers have solved problem I know about getting it out of gear. I'm thinking it has to be some wireing somewhere but not sure yet
