2011 Ram turning off

Asked by Guru3HBXJ Jul 08, 2020 at 05:04 PM about the 2010 Dodge RAM 1500 Sport Quad Cab RWD

Question type: General

I have a 2011 Ran 1500 5.7 Hemi. My problem is that when its cold it turns
on fine but after running it for about 30 minutes the truck turns off and it
doesn't want to turn on anymore, but after letting it cool down for about 15
minutes the truck turns back on again. has this happen to anyone else? or
does anyone know what if could be? if anyone can help I would appreciated
very much thanks.

Check your O2 Sensor, happened to my wife's car, would start no problem then die out within 20 to 30 mins , I would get there after letting it sit for a while and would start up, changed the top 02 Sensior never had a problem again ,good luck

I'm not a big fan of additives of any, but had a camry that was shaking and running rough ,added Seafoam to gas and 4oz to oil ,then used the Seafoam spray , literally watched this car stop shaking and run great ,with 220,000 miles and still going at 270,000 and runs great ,this stuff cleaned it all out, was a great smoke show for s little while, but this stuff is awesome.. could read and see what it does for O2 Sensors , I know they do have other stuff, of just replace it, then you know it's done..good luck
