check the grounds to your battery. even the slightest bit of a loose connection can cause the starter to click when attempting to start.

Just as a precaution, take the terminals off, clean terminals (battery and cables) with a wire brush and reinstall, snug bolts so terminal can't move. If that doesn't fix it then I would look at possible failed starter. Does the vehicle just click once when turning the key?

Nothing clicks and forgot to mention I took positive cable of touched the ground waited a few mins and nothing. May take starter off to test tomorrow

You can here the fuel pump and can here something that sounds like a clicking/whine from the dash/console when you turn the key on

You touched the positive cable to the negative side of the battery? While the ground was still.hooked up? You should never do that, but if nothing happened then either you have a bad ground or battery.

@s13envy Umm idk where you got this info that it harms. It's kinda like a precaution to make sure all the power is drained from the system hooking the two cable together.
