When my car is off there is a chime that goes off every 10 seconds. Also the oil light flashes as well as the door open light also flashes.

sounds like a short in your wiring. could definatly be something wrong either with your key switch or inside your column. after you remove your keys it shuts everything down, but if theres a shor in your key switch, it could be telling your car that the key is still in the switch and the chime could be where it thinks your key is still in the car. same with the lights

Yes there is a little spring loaded switch in your ignition that tells the computer that the key is in. You might be able to get it unstuck, but chances are that you will need to replace the ignition switch. Not to bad of a job really.

I will check into that, thankyou. When the car is on it doesn't do any chiming.
