My car is losing coolant from the engine coolant reservoir

Might not be the reservoir but another area where it is leaking. You need to determine where the extra coolant is going? Check the ground after a drive, and open the hood to see/smell coolant. If all looks well, perform a pressure test.

Check the radiator cap first. If the spring is weak, it will leak water from the overflow tube.
