if it's an in dash player, you can't.
is it aftermarket?
it is factory
I'm not sure if you can. BUT if you can your local car audio store should have a bypass switch. I had one in my aftermarket system that allowed me to do so. I'd think one could be put on a factory system too
You have to buy a MyGig Lockpick V.4. Once installed it enables dvd viewing with car in motion and enables navigation input while in motion.

The MyGig Lockpick version 4 is the only way with the factory 430n and 730n stereos. It will also allow you to make inputs into the Navy program while in gear. But be advised. In almost every state in the USA and Provence in Canada it is ILLEGAL to have a live video playing which is visible from the front seats. I have it on my 2013 Challenger but never use it because no matter how hard you try. It is impossible not the be distracted by the video screen. Also because I don't want to get a ticket from Johnny Law.
