Upgrading Pads and Rotors on only the front for 2010 Suburban... is this OK?
I need to replace rotors and pads on the front wheels and I am tempted to get "high
performance" parts for a few extra dollars, seems worth it to me, especially on the front
wheels. Is OK to have upgraded pads and rotors on the front but not the rear?
Absolutely. It wouldn't be a bad idea at all. The weight transfer under braking all goes to the front. Your front brakes are used way more than the rear so upgrading to better quality parts would only help with braking performance and durability. You could always choose to upgrade the rears at a later date.
