2010 tahoe lt rattling/vibration noise when started
Vehicle just started having transmission issues
last week now when I start it there's a rattling or
vibration noise that lasts for about 10 seconds
then goes away
Oil pump might be getting ready to fail, what is the oil pressure when first started? It should be at least 38 lbs. If this checks good then it is possible that you have some crud build up in the engine's oil passages and not allowing oil to circulate as fast as it should and starving the top end.
Ok. I will check when I go to transmission shop today, waiting for them to let me know the situation with tranny.
It doesn't sound like valve chatter or top end noise, but won't overlook any recommendations u give.
