my 2010 passenger air bag light says off when i start my car,help!

When the ignition switch is pushed on or start, the airbag light illuminates for about 7 seconds and then turns off. This means the system is operational. STATUS LIGHT The front passenger airbag status light operates as follows: 1. Unoccupied pass seat. The light is off and the front pass airbag is off and will not inflate in crash. 2. Pass seat occupied by small adult, child or child restraint as outlined in this section, the airbag light illuminates to indicated that the front pass airbag is off and will not inflate in crash. 3. Occupied pass seat and pass meets conditions outlined in this section, the airbag light is off to indiciate that the front pass airbag is operational.
