Asked by Mar 30, 2016 at 10:31 AM about the 2010 Jeep Liberty Sport 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2010 Jeep Liberty sport and when
I put it in gear it hesitates like it's in neutral.
Could it be the TPS?

Usually that could be your trans is low on fluid. Is it leaking? Check the level after the SUV is warmed up.

Yeah I doubt it's throttle POS sensor. Fluid level is most common when cranked up check the pan for leaks as well as any other seals if it's full and doing it may be modulator valve. You can get em at parts store to check if bad remove vacuum line and mod valve tap it against your hand and see if it has fluid in it if so it's bad.they're usually on rear of transmission above pan it'll stick out and have a vacuum line hooked up.
