2010 Nissan Sentra SR keyless remote

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Both keyless remotes bring no response. I replaced the batteries and still the same problem. Does anyone know the location of the sensors or antennas and if there is a procedure to ascertain if they are working?

I'd take a look at the car battery, the voltage present at the chassis...and would wirebrush the 1/0 cable at the chassis with a coarse wirebrush...would not hurt to assure the battery has a confident 12.5-13.5 volts available at the testing point (multimeter the chassis to HOT) connection...let's be sure that the system "has it's ears on"~

but does it help? There may be an "initialization" needed for the new keys...check the owner's manual~ may involve turning the key off and to the "on" position...holding the tripodometer down or resetting with an OBD-II device~

"keyless entry module" selector is certainly a cause for alarm.....so to speak...you must educate yourself on what this is and how to get into it's brain~

My keyless entry for my 2004 Nissan wingroad got wet and my son tried to fix it,when he opened it the screw driver came in contact with several wires from the coil and many got broken. Can I get a replacement and if so, can you send me the information to acquire a new one please?
