My Audi care has come to an end
with my last service. Just few days
ago, the car showed a message to
get it serviced in 5k or a month. The
car has put on 30k miles.
I wanted to ask what does a
maintenance entail? Can this be
done without taking the car to Audi
dealer and thus needing to buy Audi
care or this can be handled by a
specialized mechanics who servoce
auch cars. I am debating if it is worth
buying Audi care. Any inputs are truly
A 5 year old vehicle with only 30,000 miles on it shouldn't cost too much to maintain. As the vehicle ages though cost of maintenance and upkeep will increase. My personal opinion is don't bother with the Audi Care. BUT, find a reputable service facility that specializes in imports. Your local gas station or corner garage won't be able to fix it. My Nephew learned that lesson the hard way with his '98 BMW 528i. HTH. -Jim
Thanks Jim. Do you know at 30k service , what all is serviced on this type of car? Oil, filter, tire rotation, alignment , etc?
You're welcome, glad to help. Those things that you mentioned plus inspect belts and hoses, inspect air filter, inspect brakes, load test battery, inspect tires for dry rot, and uneven wear. HTH. -Jim
