how do you repair the back door handle

Asked by Oct 22, 2013 at 11:51 PM about the 2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Rear door handle pulled out of door with linkage falling to bottom of door.

1 Answer

Obviously, you're going to have to get in there....use a long knife and a needlenose pliers to remove the panel fasteners and pull it off~(after having removed any phillips screws)~ you might be able to use a telescoping magnet to pull out steel parts...reassemble...or order up replacement~
