What is required for 40mile service in Mercedes Benz 2010 E350 model?
If you are buying a Mercedes....you are made of money (or so they think)...so sell this one and buy a Toyota~ final word....judge
Dealerships love charging big money for maintenance, that's how they make their money. Find a local independent mechanic who works on Mercs.
I agree with judge_roy and Tom. Judging by the total you paid - I am guessing it was a "B" service somewhere in the 35k to 45k mileage range. Brake fluid change, Transmission fluid change, oil, etc all can all be done by any qualified mechanic at a fraction of Mercedes dealer costs. Cabin and engine air filters should be DIY items. You only need to maintain records in case you have a major failure that is covered by warranty.
