2010 lincolin town car driver seat motor

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2010 Lincoln Towncar .
The driver side seat motor works to move the seat
forward and back wards. But the part of the seat
that moves the seat into an upward or leaned back
position does not work. The seat is now leaned
back all the way and I cannot get the seat back up
so I can drive it in a drivable position. We changed
the fuse but same results. Bottom track to move
seat forward and backwards works. But the other
half does not. What can we try ? Or is there a way
to manually Bing the seat back into an upright
position ??? Please help

There should be a separate motor to drive the functions that don't work. Your seat should have multiple motors. Remove the seat and see if there is a fault in the wiring or the motor itself, I don't think you can manual adjust it.
