I have a 2010 Chevy Impala & when I turn the heater on it only blows heat on the passenger side not the driver side it also blows heat for a couple of minutes after that it just blows cold on both
You mean threw the vents? If you got heat threw the passenger side, the thermostat should be ok. What does the gauge say on the dash? Thinking you may have a duck work problem, maybe an actuator module under the dash, I wouldn't be totally sure until my Impala gets home later today. Someone may jump in also in the mean time..
First of all check your coolant level, make sure it is full, as far as only blowing on the passenger side it could be a failed door servo on the drivers blend door, very common problem, rock auto has them for around 25 bucks, but they can be a real bear to replace.
