Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Will the a bad door heat actualor cause for
the battery saver active to be displayed. I

sounds fishy to me...how can an actuator door fail? pull out the owner's manual and see if you can find a paragraph about this~...wish I could tell you, but this business of "battery saver" mode is brand-new to me~

No the heat system shuts completely down a few minutes after the key is turned off, I am concerned that you replaced the battery though, I hope you used the little preset saver before you removed the battery, if you didn't you may wind up back at the dealer needing to have the computer system reflashed to get all of the accessories to function correctly, including the battery saver circuits.

It is starting to show up more and more, some makes now have a warring in the owners manual under the battery section. I found it in my 05 GMC but it is t so on my 02 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
