Engine Performance
Asked by bfreamjr Apr 14, 2011 at 05:25 PM about the 2010 Nissan Armada Platinum
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
When I take my foot off the accelerator, the engine slows down very quickly. It is almost like you
were down shifting into a lower gear. It does not "coast". The dealer has checked it twice and
says it is running okay. The car did not do this when we first bought it. it currently has about
23,000 miles. This problem began at about 13,000 to 15,000 miles.

Sounds like your brake calipers are slightly frozen.jack the car up and spin the tire by hand, does it spin freely or very hard to turn.if it,s very hard then thers diffently something wrong with your brakes.this would cause your car to decrease speed quickly after letting your foot of the pedal.
