What could be wrong when the check engine light comes on after a trip you took at about 1700 miles?
Really wouldn't know until the vehicle got scanned for codes. Auto Zone will do this for free, Just write down the codes and post them back here.
Only way to know is to have the code scanned, which can be done at any parts store for free, or by your mechanic or dealership for a fee. The parts store might give you some suggestions based on the code pulled, or you can post them here.
Should have the vehicle scanned for codes, that would tell you why it is on. Auto Zone can scan it for codes, just write them down and post them back here for help if need be.
Okay, thanks for your replies. I will go by one.
Unless you are a mechanic, or just want one of these scanners, there is no need to buy one. There are plenty of parts stores that will scan your vehicle for codes.
