battery dead on Jaguar XK, 2010, car locked, how do I get the truck opened

battery dead, car locked, need to open the truck to get to the battery

There's a key in your key fob. Squeeze lugs on side of fob. Remove key. Place in trunk lid key hole and hey presto!
