can I use 215 60r 16 tires on my 2010 Toyota corolla
I have a set of 215 60r 16 tires and want to know they will fit on my 2010 Toyota corolla they have stock 205 55r 16 on them?
I wouldn't recommend it. They might fit, but you might have some issues with clearance when turning and get some rubbing from the front tires, plus your speedo will be off 5% or 3MPH faster. You can try mounting them in the front first if you really want to use them to see if you have issues.
Check your owners manual, there should be a tire list in it showing what size tires you can put on your stock wheels without causing any clearance problems. You can also try the Tire Rack web site for optional tire sizes that ill work.
tennisshoes has a good point, I know for fact he knows what he is talking about. He is knowledgeable about these things (and other stuff to boot).... Then again Tom has the answer I would agree with, the engineers that designed the car chose the stock tires you have for a reason, best for your car, all things considered.
