Gas fumes coming from my vents inside my car.
I just replaced my plugs in my 2010 toyota corolla along with the oil and oil filter and the
air filter. Since then when I run the heat or ac everything is fine but when I come to a stop
the fumes come inside through the vents. I tried placing the old air filter bake in and
seeing if that helped but it did the same thing. Before I did all of this I never had this gas
fume smell. Anybody have any suggestions?
First of all, unless you have racked up 100,000 miles on a 2010 Corolla there was NO reason to change the spark plugs. Be that as it may, please, post haste, take it to a dealer or reputable shop and find out what's happening ....fumes of gasoline= fuel leak and FIRE risk. Please be careful.
