open the door on the inside of the trunk on the passenger side.unscrew the jack and pull the plastic cover off underneathe it.if your just tryin to jump it do it from the engine compartment.on the left (drivers)side of the engine there is a small black square box with a terminal used to jump the battery.put the power on that side and ground on the one on the strut tower.if your repalcing the battery gotta pull out the trunk panels.and the spare to get to the batt.hold down clamp.also make sure the battery is the same cca rating.

'09 should be under warranty stil.........no? anyways, your battery, if not under the hood on the passenger side near back of engine compartment, should be in the trunk over the passenger side wheel...... check youtube for some info if want. bmw owners are always tinkering with their toys...lol ps - love the 750 stretch limo..............very nice cheers

On the new F02 sevens, lift the boot floor, remove the 2 10mm plastic nuts and remove the floor panel, the battery is under the cover in the middle of the boot floor area.
