My 2010 Mustang did this a little last year and a lot this year:when it gets warm outside and the car's been sitting outside, when I start it, hot air will blow through the vents.
when it's warm out, my Mustang has hot air blowing out the vents but when the day is a
little cooler, the air circulation is normal. What can this be. Just started last year.
Sounds like a bad blend door motor.
Thank you so much. Its funny that on a day that's average temp the air that blows through the vents feels fine but as soon as the day heats up. Really hot air pours out the vents
Yup that's how a blend door works. Its either fresh air from outside or heat from the heater core. Its supposed to move slowly so you can blend the hot and cool air. When it goes bad its either open or closed all the way. No more blending.
