Question type: Maintenance & Repair

There is a fine white dust or powder in on the engine

1 Answer

Did you drive through something like flour or chalk dust from a piece of broken drywall? Is your climate damp most of the year with a dry spell in the summer? Could be aluminum corrosion blowing around from the alternator or other aluminum parts.
