2009 BMW M5 smg pump issues.
Ok long one..
Bought this car last December only put 1000 miles when the trans
malfunction went off. Took to the dealer and replaced the clutch. "Full service
warranty won't cover that" which I got for 7K.
Now drove the car for 45 miles same deal smg pump is shot. Dealer charged
me 1300 for the inspection and told me I had to buy a new one for total
7000.00 or more.
Question is - do I small claims these guys?
It was suppose to me fully certified inspected so it says on a report. Also car
fax has one owner for 3 weeks prior too me as well.
Ok I live in NH most used Autos have a lemon laws in most states 3 strikeouts on them can't fixings what's wrong they get written up and then that auto will show up on title and they have to have a sticker on Windows explanation of the 3 strikes. Also most used lots are responsible for the first 1,000 miles or first 30 days . You should be paying Zip unless you bought the BMW as is. Call your state office and you can find the laws very quickly start on line . Most car lots don't want a lemon sticker so look up the lemon juice law!!! Wish you luck.
