bmw 328i xdrive

Question type: General

My battery was fried in the car came to find out the
alternator is working at 17 volts now all the
sensors in the car are on when the car is in motion.  
Even the engine revs high. Is the alternator to
blame?

if your alternator is putting out 17v. Alternator is bad.
