bmw engine 2009
my 2009 bmw involved in a car accident and i changed the crankshaft pulley after two
days the oil all came out from leaked behind the crankshaft pulley
also wondering if the timing belt changed is i possible to bent the valves
another problem came out the water pump blow out i bought a new one and installed it and start the car one of the cylinders compression is 90 instead of 150 so I'm not sure if it's because the valve was bent after the timing belt came of from the crank hub while we installed the crank pulley and leaded to cause all these problems and bent the cylinder I'M CONFUSED SOME ONE HELP PLZ
I'm confused too. Without knowing what was all damaged in the accident, it will be hard to help/diagnose your issue on this forum. What you are referring to as the timing belt sounds like your descriping the serpentine belt. As far as the oil leak, you will need to pinpoint the area that it is leaking. If it is indeed behind the crank pulley, and your compression is low in one cyclinder, your probably looking at spending big money on rebuilding the engine. Might be easier to swap in another one? Without pics, and more information this all I can help with. Maybe someone else can take a stab at it.
