Radio ford edge 2009

My reception does not work all I get is static we
have removed radio and checked connections
please help!

Run an ohms check on the antenna, center prong to antenna mast, side case to car ground, if any of those are open replace the antenna assembly. If it ohms out good then you have an internal radio problem.
